Down at the newsstand, we’ve been seeing a whole lot of Penélope Cruz. And you won’t hear us complaining – ever. Magazine editors across the globe have been falling over themselves to secure the celebrated Spanish actress as their cover star, with Cruz having fronted the likes of Vanity Fair Italia, American ELLE, Vogue Spain and V Magazine. Benedetta Poletti at ELLE Spain is the latest to drop Cruz as cover star, with the unveiling of the magazine’s April 2024 edition. Poletti enlists Xavi Gordo as cover shoot photographer, who captures the Chanel brand ambassador oozing sultry glamour across a pair of sensationalist covers. In the main newsstand cover (below), stylist Sylvia Montoliu opted to dress Cruz in a corset from Mugler – and we are living for it.
